01 / Get Dirty

A Conceptual & Rapid Prototype Lab to show & prove.

This is the “lab”, or in this case “bench”, for Paul Benninghove Jr., a 21-year digital interactive and advertising veteran who’s stood up agencies’ and brands’ digital efforts. Dirty Deeds is meant to be a rapid prototyping and concept lab for brands and small agencies that need to move fast and make good decisions.

The goal is to facilitate ideas that win and then pressure test those ideas before they become expensive commitments.

That takes two forms. Brief Autopsy, a 48–72 hour senior review of your brief before you commit six weeks and six figures to a direction. Prototype/Conceptual Sprint, working evidence in days, not decks in weeks. The objective is always the same: make ideas tangible, gather feedback, and learn faster.

For Agencies

Dirty Deeds helps turn concepts into experiences clients can see, touch, and believe in.

For Brands

A fast way to explore opportunities, pressure test assumptions, and reduce risk before the larger investments are made.

The public side of Dirty Deeds is the workshop floor. Concepts, experiments, prototypes, and observations shared while they're still fresh. This is where my thoughts become reality. Some become client work. Some are simply ideas worth putting into the world.

You'll find me when the brief or the creative starts to feel predictable.
When the category looks like everyone else's.
When the team is stuck in slides.

When you need to know if the idea works before you spend a fortune building it.

Turning pitching into winning.

02 / The Rate Card

What it costs to get dirty.

Two services. Six tiers. No hourly billing. No retainers. Just senior lead ideation on strategy and concepting that leads to risk mitigation and successful projects. Working prototypes built in days, not decks in weeks.

Delivered in various forms based on the needs of the project and client. You bring the brief, I'll show you value every time.

A handful of concepts I'm allowed to talk about, straight from the workbench. Some that saw the light of day, some that saw sell-through.

Seltzer Liberation Day — delta landing page
StrategyCreative DirectionBrandWeb Dev

Seltzer Liberation Day

For this campaign prototype we did a unique take on Independence Day where users could declare their liberation from things in life that Delta helps with and sign an online Declaration with full social integration and image capture of their signature on a document they could download.

The Brief Basics

Delta wanted a Fourth-of-July drop that didn’t read like every other canned-cocktail ad. I decided to take it a step further with interactive that’s fun and ties tightly to brand and use cases.

Delta party game prototype — a card asking whether Delta would help, with vote options
StrategyGame DesignCreative DirectionWeb Dev

A Party Game For Problems

Concepting a party game you can play on your device or in the real world that ties directly into the brand's “There's A Delta For That” tag in a fun and creative way.

The Brief Basics

A card game where players vote for whether a Delta would help alleviate the problem. How the world votes is how you score. How you vote is data for us to define occasions.

Kickoff Chaos — Delta World Cup 2026 landing page
StrategyGame DesignWeb Dev

Kickoff Chaos — World Cup Bingo

A World Cup 2026 campaign concept for Delta — a fast, high-energy “pitchcard” prototype built to bottle the chaos of match day and turn global-tournament hype into a shareable, on-brand moment. Fans choose the bingo card of their favorite team and check off moments as games play out, with rewards for completing rows and sharing on social — webcam integration built in.

The Brief Basics

We wanted a fun way to leverage the World Cup in the US — a game you could play in the real world with printed bingo cards or online. Each time you complete a row, rewards happen: instant wins and deals. Simple and effective.

Winston North Pole Cornhole — snowfield game board with wind meter, bag inventory, and score HUD
DesignDevelopmentGame TheoryRoll Out

Winston North Pole Cornhole

A game concept we pitched, designed and built for the Winston brand for their VIP and loyalty customers. Winston worked with us to create several online games for their players that tied into loyalty — and this one was the most played, by a nearly triple margin, for three months.

The Brief Basics

The client needed a game for the winter months around the holidays that tied closely to their audience and would earn eyeballs and plays. Looking at the use cases, we landed on a fun game of cornhole in a blizzard — where wind conditions affect bag flight.

04 / The Operator

One name on the file.

This is the digital home of Paul Benninghove — the operator behind the lab. He runs the strategy. He answers the phone. He brings the bench when the prototype needs to ship.

§ Modus Operandi

Two modes, one operator.

SCHEMATIC 01
Mode 01 — Outbound

Plug-In

Short-cycle work with brands and partner shops who want fresh eyes, a sharp prototype, and senior thinking on the brief. No procurement theater. No decks that don't ship.

WORKBENCH
Mode 02 — Public

Playground

The public side — concepts, experiments, and provocations published while they're still hot. Show the thinking. Steal what's useful.

When a brief outgrows one operator, he brings a vetted bench of specialists he's worked with for years — the same people, the same standard, the same accountability.

§ Known Associates — The Bench

A standing roster of senior collaborators, brought in per brief. Names withheld. Standards aren't.

§ Distinguishing Marks

I'm not a career consultant. I'm a practitioner. My work lands with top-end strategy, creativity, technology, and execution, allowing me to see opportunities and solve problems that often fall between traditional agency disciplines.

§ Statement to the Court

I've spent twenty years helping brands navigate digital transformation, customer experience, innovation, and growth. Long enough to know that most problems aren't solved by bigger decks, more meetings, or another framework.

My value comes from connecting strategy, creative thinking, technology, and execution into ideas that can actually move a business forward. I help brands and agencies challenge assumptions, sharpen opportunities, and turn promising concepts into something tangible.

If you're looking for another consultant, there are plenty of them. If you're looking for a thinking partner who can also help build the path forward, let's talk.
